FAMILY PLACED OBITARY

ELLENWOOD, GA - JACK HOMER ALLEN - We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Jack Homer Allen, who left us peacefully on January 19, 2026, with his devoted dog-mom, D’Angua Allen by his side after 13 years of unwavering love and companionship.

Jack was a rescue dog, but anyone who knew him understood that he was truly the rescuer. He had a happy, calm, gentle, and deeply affectionate soul. He was the official greeter of the home, the loyal shadow who followed you from room to room, and the one who always seemed to know exactly when a quiet paw on the knee was needed most.

Jack had a PhD in cuddles and was a master of the “lean,” offering his full weight without hesitation, as if to remind you that you were never alone. He showed affection by laying on you and gently knocking your hands with his nose, insisting politely but persistently that rubs were required. He could brighten even the hardest day with just his presence.

He loved Starbucks pup cups, treats, and was always ready to sneak some food whenever the opportunity arose. Jack enjoyed car rides and was forever prepared for any road trip, happily tagging along wherever life took him. He loved traveling to different places and watching the world pass by from the window, especially when the sun would beam down on him. It was his favorite spot to rest and soak it all in.

Jack enjoyed the company of other dogs and had a special gift for calming those around him even dogs. He was not an ordinary dog; he understood everything you said, responding with soulful eyes and quiet intelligence. Jack loved singing with his dog mom. He perfected the art of the sad look for extra treats and had no shame about it. A real dude in every sense, Jack snored, burped, and occasionally let one loose, all while remaining completely unapologetic.

He loved watching TV with his family and simply being near those he loved. His favorite place in the world was sleeping next to his dog-mom, where he felt safest and most at peace.

Though our home feels impossibly quiet without his gentle presence, we are eternally grateful for the gift of Jack’s beautiful, human-like spirit. He brought joy to all who met him and is deeply loved by his dog-mom, D’Angua, his dog siblings Zykeria and Korey, and his extended family and friends.

Jack Homer Allen was one of a kind. He was loved beyond measure and will be missed forever.
