February 27, 2014 – March 30, 2026
FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY - FOREST PARK, GA -KNOX FRANKS- Knox was the best cat in the world. Truly one of a kind. For over a decade he was the most constant thing in my life. He got me through my lowest moments, and he was there through all my wins too. He got me through heartache and two degrees. We traveled the country together for my job. We hiked together. We did everything together. He lived a full life. And he made my life fuller with his presence.
He was smart & sociable. He had sass for days. He was mouthy. He was massive. Sometimes he was a bully to his canine brother, Dallas. But 99% of the time, he was the sweetest, cuddliest, funniest boy. Typically, he didn't care for human food BUT there were 3 things you could NOT leave around him -- marinara sauce, salt & vinegar chips, & avocado lime ranch. To say he was a character would be an understatement. There're so many things I could say about him, but simply put, he was KNOX. Tons of people met him & so many left with a funny story to hold onto forever.
I thought we would have many more years ahead of us, but he was taken too soon by cancer no one even knew he had. We went to the vet knowing something wasn't right, but I never expected to leave alone.
Knox will never be forgotten. He will always be missed. I loved him when he was here. I will love him forever. He changed my life with his presence, and he changed it again with his loss. The pain I feel is immense because the love was immense. I am forever grateful.
Rest easy, Knoxy.
Thank you for everything.
Mommy loves you always.
