(FAMILY PLACE OBITUARY)

SMYRNA, GA - With sadness in our hearts, our sweet boy Murphie Alexander got his wings and crossed the Rainbow bridge on Friday, December 12, 2025 at doggie daycare; doing what he does best.

Murphie was the most handsome "Yorkie" in Smyrna, Georgia. He embodied all the characteristics of the Yorkshire Terrier breed. He was more than a handsome face, he was Fiesty, Fierce, Energetic, Affectionate, Sneaky, Smart, Bold, and yes, Stubborn.

Murphie enjoyed long walks and car rides with his sister, Miko Alexis, and sleeping in bed with mom and dad. He equally enjoyed chasing his "Red" ball, and sunbathing. His favorite pastimes were napping in the closest, sitting on the back of daddy's sofa; watching all the outside activities, lying in Momma's lap and sitting at daddy's feet. He favored anywhere his Momma was and dare not go without his favorite dental treat.

Murphie left his paw print on our hearts that will never fade. We were abundantly blessed to share our lives with him for 13 years and 5 months. He was truly a once in a lifetime precious soul. He was daddy's "little buddy" and momma's "baby boy." Although we feel his time with us was short, he packed an eternity of love, full of memories to cherish into those years.

Burial for Murphie Alexander Payne will be held on Monday, December 22 2025 at 12 Noon at Oak Rest Pet Garden, Bethlehem, GA.
